Crisp Bathroom Redo

This original bathroom definitely had some charm, but it was really rough around the edges. Initially, we wanted to try to save the original flooring and base the new design off of the retro tile; however, things don’t always go as planned. We realized that by replacing the bathtub and vanity, we would have damaged/missing tiles that would be very difficult to match perfectly. Therefore, we decided to install the same flooring with the tile that was used in the kitchen for a cohesive flow throughout the home.

An antique-inspired faucet and pretty sconces helped to soften the sharp angles of this bathroom. The old shower was replaced with subway tile and an accent shower niche for soaps. The original medicine cabinet jetted out from the wall, so we decided to recess the new medicine cabinet. The new mirror was pretty flush with the wall and helped make the small-ish bathroom feel larger. The gray and white theme felt very clean and spa-like - perfect for a main bathroom!
